Bobby’s Story
Bobby Cowart grew up without a blueprint for money. No one in his family talked about investing, net worth, or how to build wealth. What he had was discipline, a willingness to learn, and 30 years of service in the United States Navy.
The Navy taught him structure, accountability, and how to make decisions under pressure. What it did not teach him was personal finance. Like most people, he had to figure that out on his own, through trial, error, and eventually through deliberate study of how money actually works.
After retiring from the Navy as an O-4, Bobby turned his attention to real estate. He bought his first rental property, then another. He learned how to analyze deals, how to manage tenants, how to structure cash flow, and how to build an income stream that did not depend on a paycheck.

He documented what worked in a book: Real Estate Investing for Beginners: The Insider’s Secrets to Saving Money and Minimizing Risks When Investing in Real Estate. Then he built Hunter of Money to teach the same framework for free, with tools available for those who want to go deeper.
Who’s Behind Hunter of Money
Help everyday people protect their income, get out of debt, and build real assets, using plain language and tools they can actually use.
Why I Built Hunter of Money
Nobody sat me down and taught me how money works. Not my parents, not my teachers, not anyone in the Navy. I found out the hard way, one mistake at a time.
I made bad investments early on. I paid fees I didn’t understand. I waited too long to open a retirement account because nobody explained why it mattered. Thirty years of service taught me discipline and how to make decisions under pressure, but it didn’t teach me how to build wealth. I had to learn that on my own, slowly, mostly by getting it wrong first.
Here’s what took me years to understand: wealth isn’t a secret. It’s a system. Pay down the debt that’s bleeding you dry. Build a cushion so one bad month doesn’t wreck you. Invest on a schedule instead of trying to time anything. Buy assets that pay you back. Then adjust as the world changes around you, because it always does.
That system is what became the Hunter Method. I didn’t build Hunter of Money because I had it all figured out. I built it because I wish something like it had existed when I was younger, confused, and starting from zero.
So if you’re reading this and you feel behind, you’re not. You’re exactly where I was. The difference is you don’t have to spend fifteen years finding this stuff out the hard way. I already did that part.
I’m still learning too. New tools, new markets, and new risks show up every year, and I test them before I write about them. Consider this an invitation: learn alongside me. Read the guides, run the numbers with the tools, ask Hunter a question when you’re stuck. One step at a time is how real wealth gets built, and it’s how I built mine.

Why Hunter of Money Exists
Most personal finance advice is written for people who already have money. It assumes you have a financial advisor, a 401(k) match, and parents who explained compound interest at the dinner table.
Bobby built Hunter of Money for everyone else. The people who are starting from zero, carrying debt, working a job that does not feel secure, or just trying to make sense of a financial system no one taught them to navigate.
The mission is simple: practical money education, written plainly, with real tools that help you apply it to your own numbers. Bobby is not here to be a guru. He is here as a teacher, a builder, and a guide, someone who has already made the mistakes so you don’t have to repeat all of them.
